Is the best time to buy a 08 Silverado when they start selling the 09 models?

I really like the 08, but they are a little out of my reach financially. They have some discounts on them, and the selection is great. Would I be better off buying one in November or like this? When did Chevy usually give most of the incentives and rebates on their trucks? Thank you all.

Just before the dealer receives the 09, they will try to get rid of the 08's to make room. Call and ask when dealers shipment is expected 09 to enter, and call a few weeks before that to get your price on a 08.
