Why is my 2001 Chevrolet Malibu is terrible mileage?

The car has just under 70,000 miles and suddenly I received only 150 miles per tank which is about half what I normally do. I did all the basic maintenance on this. Plugs, cables, filters air filter, fuel filter were all replaced. There are no codes on the computer readout is. Any help would be great here.

Temperature gage should read normal after the first few minutes of driving, and do not fall when the car is moving fast. If not, the thermostat is bad, when the computer sees the engine is below operating temperature, it keeps putting more fuel into the engine.
